| Night Visual Flight Rules | |||||||||
The Night VFR (Visual Flight Rules) rating allows you to fly at night under visual flight conditions (good weather and clear of cloud) giving you greater flexibility when you fly as you are no longer restricted to daylight hours. For those Commercial Pilots who wish to obtain their instructor rating in the future, it is a pre -requisite that trainee instructors must hold an instrument rating or night VFR before undertaking their instructor course. |

| Private Pilot | The Night VFR can also be undertaken in a multi-engine aircraft. The syllabus of training would be the same as single-engine as long as you hold a multi-engine endorsement prior to the commencement of the NVFR. The cost would be slightly higher due to the increased cost of multi- engine aircraft.
